Custom Events · Since 2003
Six kinds of evening,
built from scratch.
Heists. Spy missions. Murder mysteries. Adventure races. Fundraisers and weddings — designed around your people, your venue, your reason.

Outdoor · 20 to 5,000 players
Adventure Races
An entire downtown reimagined as a single walkable puzzle.
Our flagship outdoor format. Teams move on foot, by bike, or by car through a city you thought you knew — gathering clues from monuments, shopkeepers, hidden envelopes, and the occasional actor who absolutely knows what you're up to. We've staged races in Richmond, Charlottesville, Washington D.C., Charleston, New Orleans, and across a dozen national parks.
- Group size
- 20 – 5,000 in teams of 4–8
- Duration
- 3–6 hours, half-day or full-day
- Best for
- Conferences, retreats, festivals
Signature productions
- ◆Escape the City — a full downtown as one puzzle
- ◆The DaVinci Mystery — half-day art-history thriller
- ◆Brewery Hunts, Park Hunts, Campus Hunts

Indoor · 8 to 80 players
The Heists
A vault. A window. A countdown. The crew is your team.
We turn your ballroom, your office floor, or a venue we scout together into the inside of a job. Roles get assigned — the hacker, the inside man, the driver, the face — and the building goes on a timer. Lasers, dead drops, a security guard who keeps walking the same route. The painting is on the wall at sunset. It cannot be on the wall by sunrise.
- Group size
- 8 – 80 in role-based crews
- Duration
- 90 minutes – 3 hours
- Best for
- Executive offsites, milestone birthdays
Signature productions
- ◆The Gallery Job — original art, original alarms
- ◆The Bank Holiday — break in before the auditors do
- ◆The Hotel Suite — for parties already in the building

Theatrical · 12 to 200 players
Spy Thrillers
Dead drops, double agents, and a final confrontation in a room you won't see coming.
Tradecraft training, a chalk mark on a lamppost, a contact in the hotel bar who may or may not be on your side. Spy events spread across a single venue or an entire neighborhood, with cells of players running parallel missions that quietly collide in the third act. Suits optional. Sunglasses recommended.
- Group size
- 12 – 200 in cells of 3–5
- Duration
- 2–4 hours, evening or full day
- Best for
- Sales kickoffs, agency offsites, milestone trips
Signature productions
- ◆Operation Nightingale — Cold War briefcase chase
- ◆The Cipher — embedded asset, two-hour extraction
- ◆Double Cross — every team has a mole

Immersive Theatrical · 10 to 150 guests
Murder Mysteries & Immersive Theatrical
Living characters, suspects who answer back, and a body before the second course.
Our actors don't read from cards. They were hired three weeks ago, given a biography, a motive, and a secret to keep — and they will keep it until you outwit them. Dinner-theater format, walking format, or fully site-specific takeovers of historic homes, museums, and private estates.
- Group size
- 10 – 150 guests, seated or roaming
- Duration
- 2.5 – 4 hours including dinner
- Best for
- Birthdays, holiday parties, private dinners
Signature productions
- ◆Death at the Jefferson — period mystery at the historic hotel
- ◆The Last Will — a reading interrupted by a poisoning
- ◆Custom Original — your guest list, written into the script

Black-Tie · 100 to 600 guests
Luxury Fundraisers
Galas that out-raise the silent auction by giving guests something to live inside of.
Our sister studio Luxury Fundraising Games designs the evening end-to-end — story, set, actors, and a game your donors actually want to play. Guests don't bid against a clipboard; they buy clues, unlock chapters, sponsor reveals. Boards report 2–4× lift over their previous gala in the same room.
- Group size
- 100 – 600 black-tie guests
- Format
- Full evening: cocktails, dinner, game, reveal
- Lift
- Typical 2–4× vs. prior-year gala
Signature productions
- ◆The Patron's Vault — sponsor a clue, unlock a chapter
- ◆Midnight at the Museum — venue partnership program
- ◆Custom Cause — written around your mission
Lifelong · 2 to 300 guests
Weddings, Proposals & Engagements
A proposal hidden inside a four-hour mystery. A rehearsal dinner that ends in a vault.
Our sister studio Luxury Wedding Games does one thing exceptionally well: it builds adventures around the most important day of two people's lives. Proposals concealed inside city-wide hunts. Rehearsal dinners that turn into heists. Welcome parties that double as how-the-couple-met escape stories. Reception after-parties that send guests out into the city in tuxedos and sneakers.
- Scale
- Two people, or three hundred
- Lead time
- Best at 8+ weeks; proposals at 4+
- Best for
- Proposals, rehearsals, welcome parties, after-parties
Signature productions
- ◆The Proposal Hunt — she said yes at the chest
- ◆Rehearsal Heist — vows in the vault
- ◆Welcome Hunt — how the couple met, played out
